Fragments

Fragments was an ensemble founded by Shane Dempsey, Tom Flannery and Hannah Burke. Key works include: Mothers Of Modern Ireland, The Cut, No Dogs, The Bay, The Master and Margarita. The resident acting ensemble comprised of a core of individuals from various cultural backgrounds who worked collectively in developing specific projects. There was a major emphasis on the value of continuous training for the actors and we constantly strived to develop a common theatrical language that draws on our various backgrounds and provided audiences with a unique way of engaging with our work. Our process was to fuse form and content and to constantly re-imagine our means of storytelling.
